Italian shoes: buy in Kharkiv, Kyiv and anywhere in Ukraine
N-SHOES keeps Italian brands in one catalogue: Grisport hiking boots, CMP outdoor lines, and the sport and lifestyle range of Kappa and Sergio Tacchini. Every pair lists its materials, size run and width, so you choose by specification rather than by photo.
Why Italian footwear holds its value for years
The Italian shoemaking tradition is not a marketing label but a set of production districts (distretti) in Veneto, Marche, Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, where lasts, leather and soles are made on neighbouring streets. That has three practical consequences for the buyer.
A last built around the foot
Italian makers keep their own lasts for decades and rarely change the geometry. If one model of a brand fits you, the next pair from the same line will almost certainly fit the same way.
Leather you can repair
Full-grain leather and nubuck on a firm insole survive a resole and new heel taps. That is the real economics behind “costs more up front, less per season”.
Membranes and genuine outdoor use
In the hiking and outdoor segment Italian brands fit membranes and layered soles with tread designed for a specific load: city, forest, mountain trail, or a full day on your feet at work.
Italian brands in the N-SHOES catalogue
Below are the brands whose origin and specialisation we can confirm. The data carries no promotional exaggeration: if a claim is not confirmed by the manufacturer, we leave it out.
Grisport
Hiking, work and everyday footwear in full-grain leather.
- CountryItaly
- Founded1977
- RegionCastelcucco, Veneto
- SegmentOutdoor and work
The brand grew out of work footwear, so the lasts are generous and the soles are built for long hours standing. The range covers city boots, winter models and membrane hiking boots.
CMP
Outdoor gear and footwear from the F.lli Campagnolo group.
- CountryItaly
- RegionVeneto
- SegmentMountains, trails, winter
- ProfileApparel and footwear
CMP covers active-leisure scenarios: light summer hiking models, mid-cut boots with ankle support, and insulated winter lines. A sound choice when you want outdoor performance without a premium markup.
Kappa
Sport and streetwear with Turin roots.
- CountryItaly
- OriginsTurin, MCT
- SegmentSport and lifestyle
- MarkOmini logo
The brand emerged from a Turin knitwear factory, made its name in football kit and later in street fashion. Today it means recognisable sneakers and plimsolls for everyday wear.
Sergio Tacchini
Tennis heritage in a modern sportswear cut.
- CountryItaly
- Founded1966
- FounderSergio Tacchini
- SegmentSport-casual
The brand was started by a professional tennis player and it shows in the silhouettes: clean lines, retro trainers, 1980s colour blocking. The range works well with jeans and with a tracksuit.
Classic segment
Italian-cut dress shoes to order.
- CategoryDerbies, loafers
- MaterialLeather, suede
- SeasonSpring and autumn

Classic Italian lasts are narrower than outdoor ones, so we always suggest a quick consultation before you order. A manager will check the insole length against your foot measurement.
What we deliberately leave out
Online, brands with no confirmed country of origin are often called Italian, and “ambassador” lists are assembled from unrelated athletes. We do not publish that kind of claim.
Every product card states the brand’s country in a separate field. If a brand is not Italian, it does not appear on this page — however Italian the name may sound.
How to choose your size in Italian footwear
The Italian size scale matches the European one, but lasts differ between segments. Go by insole length rather than by the number you are used to: measure your foot in the evening, standing, from heel to longest toe, and add 5—10 mm of room.
| Model type | Last characteristic | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Hiking and outdoor | Wider, allows for thermal socks | Take your size and try the boots with the socks you will actually wear |
| Fur-lined winter models | Insulation reduces internal volume | Often one size up — check the insole length |
| Trainers and plimsolls | Medium width, flexible upper | Your size; one size up for a wide foot |
| Leather classics | Narrower, leather relaxes slightly | Your size; a snug fit in the first days is normal |
Every N-SHOES product card lists the size run and the insole length for the smallest and largest sizes. If your measurement falls between two values, take the larger one.
Care that extends the life of a pair
- Dry at room temperature — no radiators, no hairdryer
- Alternate pairs: leather needs a day to dry out
- Treat nubuck and suede with water-repellent spray before first wear
- Feed smooth leather with cream every 2—3 weeks in season
- Hold the shape with a shoe tree or firm paper, not newspaper

Frequently asked questions
Is everything on this page genuinely Italian?
Yes. Only brands with a confirmed country of origin appear here, and the brand’s country is repeated in a separate field on every product card.
How does an Italian last differ from a Polish one?
Italian classic models are usually narrower with a longer toe; Polish lasts run fuller. For a wide foot, check the insole length in the description.
Can I try the shoes on before paying?
Yes, with try-on delivery. You inspect the pair at the branch and pay only for what fits.
How long do I have to exchange the wrong size?
14 days from receipt, provided the shoes, tags and box keep their original condition. We prioritise an exchange for another size over a refund.
Is there a warranty on Italian footwear?
Yes, the warranty follows Ukrainian consumer protection law. The term and conditions are set out in the Warranty and returns section.
What if the model I want is out of stock?
Send a request to a manager: some items we bring in to order, or we suggest an equivalent on the same last.
