European Championships in Athletics is a success for #JomaTeam

The European Athletics Championships ended with important achievements for #JomaTeam. Italy became European champion for the first time with 426.5 points in the competition. #JomaTeam brought home 14 medals: six gold, five silver and three bronze.

Also, Spain, represented by the Royal Athletics Federation (RFEA) and sponsored by Joma, finished in a historic fourth place at the European Championships. The victories of Mohamed Katir and Esther Guerrero in the 1500 meters, Thierry Ndikumwenayo in the 5000 meters and Daniel Arce in the 3000 hurdles stand out in particular. Four golds helped Spain reach 351 points in the final rankings.

Also of note is the #JomaTeams team from the Czech Republic, which scored 303.5 points and entered the top ten countries in the championship. Amali Shvabikova finished third in the high jump with a 460 centimeter and also contributed to the team's success.

Joma is the brand sponsoring the most federations in Europe according to Nations 2023. The European Championship was held in Silesia (Poland) and was part of the European Games. This multi-sport event also determined the qualifying places for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. From 20 to 25 June, 15 Joma federations competed in three divisions, demonstrating their dominance in athletics and establishing their position among the competition.
