Joma shines at the 2023 European Games

 5 minutes

The European Games 2023, which takes place from June 21 to July 2 in Krakow, Poland, brought together participants from 48 countries competing in 29 different disciplines. This multi-sport event is attended by over six Olympic Committees, including representatives from Spain, Portugal, North Macedonia, Armenia, Moldova and Malta, as well as numerous national federations. They are all dressed in Joma collections that have been specially created for each country, reflecting their individual traits.

Participation in this competition provides the opportunity for athletes to receive direct qualification places for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in 10 Olympic sports. Thus, the European Games represent a unique chance to get a "direct pass" to the next Olympic Games. Other disciplines that are not included in the 2024 Olympics, such as karate, kickboxing or paddle tennis, have also found their way into this event, with Joma playing a leading role.

Especially worth noting is the fierce battle for the first place in the medal table between Spain and Italy. So far, Spain has 18 gold, 11 silver and 11 bronze medals, while Italy has 18 gold, 17 silver and 23 bronze medals.

Joma has a strong presence at the 2023 European Games, including participation through national federations. In athletics, for example, Joma dresses 15 national teams, making it the most visible brand in the discipline. Among the participants in this discipline, two strongest teams stand out - Spain, which occupies a historical fourth place, and Italy, which has just become European champion. In addition, Joma is also represented in other disciplines such as table tennis, rugby and FITP, where the Spanish federation also competes under the #JomaTeam banner.
