The evolution of the official shoes of the Rome Marathon 2023

At the 28th Rome Marathon 2023, Joma has unveiled a new official shoe model: the Supercross, replacing the Storm Viper. This change was made to provide better cushioning, stability and comfort, as well as easier recovery after a marathon.

The marathon distance is exactly 42,195 km and the participants will walk the most important streets of Rome on March 19, 2023. On their way there will also be world-famous historical monuments such as the Roman Colosseum, Plaza de España and Piazza San Pedro in the Vatican.

The design of the new version of the official shoes of the Rome Marathon is based on the colors of the flag of Rome. Pompeian red and golden yellow decorate the shoes, inspired by the exploits of the gladiators who fought in the Roman Colosseum.
