CheckoutChoosing the right fashionable Fall-Winter boots for most men is quite a challenge. Not every cut will suit such shoes, for example, suit trousers or jeans. In addition, winter boots should have a higher top, which, unfortunately, can optically shorten the legs or cause unsightly rolling of the trousers. Which pair to choose and what to combine to look fashionable and not freeze?
Lace-up boots made of thick genuine leather are best suited for everyday use. It must be remembered that they have a massive sole, insulation and a tread that provides good grip. The combination of sole and upper is also important - the most reliable is the use of glue and strong threads at the same time, which will guarantee water resistance. We can also get brogues, i.e. stitched shoes, but in a version with a higher top and rubber soles. The most difficult thing, of course, is to choose winter boots for a suit, because thin, elegant material and heavy shoes may not look very stylish. In such cases, it is worth choosing classic and smooth, high Jodhpur boots without a tread. Of course, the pants should fit over the shoes, covering its upper part. The best solution is to combine black shoes with black trousers.
Recently, shoes in a sporty version have also been very fashionable during the Autumn-Winter period, i.e. classic sneakers with thicker soles and higher uppers. However, in the most severe frosts, they will not work - then we turn to camel, insulated boots, which also have a lifestyle character.
What other men's shoes will be at the peak of popularity this season? Check out our roundup of the most stylish models!
Boots are a type of footwear that is ideal for the coldest period of the year and in the most severe weather conditions such as frost, rain and snowstorms. Therefore, Autumn-Winter men's shoes differ from low shoes or sneakers, mainly in the height of the top and the materials from which they are made.
High-quality Autumn-Winter boots should be made of genuine thick leather, preferably genuine leather. Models made of suede or nubuck are also an interesting option, but they are quite difficult to care for and can get wet in very rainy weather. So that the legs do not freeze, it is best to choose natural wool or fur as a warming element. Shoes lined with polyester sheepskin, unfortunately, can contribute to sweaty feet and a feeling of discomfort. They also will not provide us with protection in the most severe frosts. For snow and slippery surfaces, a thick rubber or rubber outsole with a deep tread will provide insulation from cold ground and good traction. You should also pay attention to the size - it should be about 0.5 cm larger than our correct one. Thanks to this, we will be able to put on a thicker sock and, above all, avoid frostbite, which can occur when the foot is completely immobilized.
