How to get the size right

1Leave room for socks

Try winter shoes on with a warm sock. Leave about 0.5–1 cm between your toes and the toe of the shoe.

2Try on in the evening

Feet swell slightly by evening. A pair that fits then will be comfortable all day.

3Check the insole

Each product page lists the insole length per size. Compare it with the length of your foot.

Dry them right

Dry at room temperature, away from radiators and hair dryers. Remove the insole and stuff with paper.

Wipe off de-icers

Road salt dries leather out. Wipe your shoes with a damp cloth straight after a walk.

Waterproofing

Refresh a water-repellent spray every 2–3 weeks. It does not harm the membrane.
