Shoes, like any wardrobe item, require diligent attitude and special storage conditions. Regular care is required for both expensive and cheap shoes. Immediately after arriving from the street, it must be restored to its normal form: dry it wet, and clean the dirty one. Drying is best done on pads to avoid deformation. For these purposes, you can use densely packed layers of newspaper, which must be replaced over time, due to the excellent absorbent properties of paper. Frequent replacement will dry your shoes quickly. Do not forget about the insoles, they must be dried separately. After thoroughly drying the shoes, you can start smearing them with cream, for example, using an unusable toothbrush.

To store any footwear, to avoid the appearance of a layer of dust, it is better to use boxes or special packing materials. In this case, the position of the shoe should be natural, which is done by filling it with a rag of a non-coarse material or using lasts. If the shoes are deformed after storage, it is worth soaking them in castor oil, which is ideal for caring for leather shoes. Having applied the oil to the surface, it is worth leaving the shoes alone on the newspaper until it is completely absorbed. This technique will allow the shoes to not absorb moisture, become soft and shiny. Therefore, when sending shoes for storage in boxes, it is worth pre-soaking them with castor oil.
Probably, everyone is aware that any shoes need to be constantly lubricated and wiped with something so that they do not lose their appearance, but few people know what (and, most importantly, how) this should be done.
As a result, a year later, it is scary to look at the shoes, for which a whole fortune was given, and the owner is doomed to go for a new pair.

In some cases, it is possible to use a special shoe shampoo that removes dirt from the leather without deforming it.
When buying a shoe polish, spread a little on paper and let it dry, see if the resulting shade matches your shoes.
Don't use cheap compounds - they can ruin your shoes.
The only remedy that can be safely applied to any footwear is nanocream, since it contains special particles that make the material of the boots resistant to low temperatures.
And the last tip: do not spray on the cream - it will not be able to be absorbed, it is best to spray the shoes first, and then add the cream on top.
