Poland has been in the EU since 2004. Footwear on the EU market falls under the REACH regulation, which restricts hazardous chemicals in materials.

2Honest labelling

Directive 94/11/EC requires the material of the upper, lining and sole to be shown. You see what you pay for.

4Familiar sizes

Polish brands use the European size scale, the same one used in Ukrainian stores.

European footwear carries a label with pictograms showing each part and what it is made of. The material listed covers at least 80% of that part.
