Calculating the time to read an article: 3 minutes
If you liked it, you need to take it. You can use this advice, but with some reservations. Choosing new shoes must be wise, and for this it is worth using a few tips. If the shoes are not correctly selected, then be prepared to face discomfort in the form of blisters and even a change in gait.
① First rule: the chosen pair of shoes should not press.
When squeezed, blood circulation in the leg area is disturbed, and tight shoes will deform fingers and nails. The best time to shop is evening. Why not morning? Do not forget that swelling appears on the legs closer to the afternoon due to exertion. A new pair of shoes should be close to the leg and in no case squeeze it. Always remember that the size of the right and left foot may differ, so be guided by the size of the larger foot. The recommended distance between the big toe and the toe of the shoe should be about 0.3–1.3 cm.
② The second rule: beautiful outside, but comfortable inside.
This even applies to small things in the form of small internal seams, rubber or plastic inserts. If they are present and cause a tiny inconvenience during fitting, then remember that after a few days the result may be bloody calluses.
③ Third rule: naturalness.
Not everyone has the opportunity to purchase high-quality shoes, but this is worth considering. Firstly, such a pair will last for many years and are less exposed to external factors. Secondly, high-quality material, at least from the inside of the product, will gradually take the shape of your leg and thus will be as comfortable as possible.

④ Fourth rule: the insole is important.
It is the insole that you need to pay attention to, study its composition. Decline your choice towards special materials that prevent the growth of bacteria and the appearance of an unpleasant odor. The insole should be soft enough and cushioning to make walking pleasant.
⑤ Fifth rule: an even seam.
A quality pair of shoes is distinguished by straight seams, symmetrical lace holes and a quality, well-sliding lock. If at least one moment is embarrassing - refuse to buy. A crooked seam with protruding threads or rough glue marks will do no good.
